About Us
Pentagon Football Club were formed in 1972 by a group of employees in the planning department of Chatham Borough Council and as plans were being formulated for a new town centre shopping complex to be known as ‘The Pentagon’, the same name was chosen for the football club. The club entered the league at the start of the 1972/73 season, three years before the shopping centre opened its doors.
